30 for 30 Choices

Alright, I finally picked my choices for Kendi's 30 for 30 Challenge.  I put it off until the last minute, because, quite frankly, the thought of working from such a limited wardrobe is not appealing at all.  I have accumulated my clothing over they years and have worked hard to keep it full of things I love.  Eliminating a good 80% was not easy!  I read through some posts of bloggers who have done the challenge in the past for some advice.  I think i made good choices, but only time will tell!  So here, in no particular order, are my options for the next 30 days!
11 TOPS:  1-Merona   2-The Limited   3-H&M   4-thrifted   5-Banana Republic   6-Charlotte Russe   7-NY&Co.   8-F21   9-The Limited   10-INC   11-H&M  (A few items were sort of shy aka I took bad photos that didn't show them, but trust me I have 11 tops!)

1 PAIR OF JEANS: The Gap

2 DRESSES: 1-LOFT   2-Banana Republic

5 SKIRTS:  1-LOFT   2-Merona   3-Merona  4-Merona   5-Michael Kors

4 JACKETS/BLAZERS/CARDIS: 1-H&M   2-Banana Republic   3-Mossimo   4-H&M

2 PAIRS OF BOOTS:  1-Merona   2-America Eagle

4 PAIRS OF SHOES: 1-Jessica Simpson   2-Aldo   3-Jessica Simpson   4-Steve Madden

So here it is, my 30 for 30 wardrobe.  BUT WAIT, if you are any good at math you may have realized that I only have 29 items here.  I picked 29 items and asked The Turk to pick the 30th item.  I told him the rules and then let him roam free in my closet for a while.  He chose (drum-roll please!)...

The B.Moss shirt I wore to work yesterday!  I had hoped it would be an item I hadn't recently worn since I will be featuring the same things for the next month, but I wasn't about to turn down his choice.

So there you have it, my 30 pieces.  I am excited to start the challenge on Monday.  My bank account (and honestly, my overly stuffed closet) is excited for the no shopping part of the challenge.  To all the other bloggers starting their challenge on Monday: GOOD LUCK!

That's really sweet that you left the last pick open... I'm always curious as to what my husband likes and why because I would choose something very different.

I like the animal-print skirt. It should make for some really fun mixing, especially toward the end of the 30 days. Makes me reconsider adding my zebra skirt to the mix. - Katy
