Gray Expectations

After yesterday's colorful patriotic week, I decided to tone it down with some gray.  I'm not a big pants person, but it is supposed to be pretty cold this winter so I caved and bought some work pants (on super sale!) from LOFT.  I feel a little weird whenever I wear pants to work, but I can get over that if it is cold enough.
Sweater: H&M
Cardigan: Banana Republic
Trousers: LOFT
Shoes: Jessica Simpson
Watch: Polo
Belt: The Limited

I've been getting up at 4:45 to squeeze in a workout before I leave for work lately.  It has given me more time in the morning and keeps me feeling alert all morning.  You'll have to forgive the post-workout hair!

Just found you via Kendi's blog. I love that you also live in Seattle (techically I'm in Monroe, but I work in Bellevue - does that count?) Anyhoo, you look GREAT!

Those pants are very pretty! I haven't had a chance to stop by in a while, so I caught up for the last few days--you've been looking beautiful! I loved your patriotic outfit yesterday, and I can't even think how to describe your rainy day outfit--that coat and umbrella combination is to die for!

Thanks for all your sweet comments on my blog, by the way. Commenters make it worth getting dressed in the morning!! :)

I love the look of these trousers - they are so sleek and fit you perfectly!

I think when it comes to pants, that is the key. They can be flattering! And you are right, sometimes when it's bitterly cold, you want something a bit thicker than tights.

Chic on the Cheap
