Twenty is Plenty

Day 20 of the 30 for 30 Challenge!  I don't know about you, but I want day 31 to come so badly I can taste it.  I have some beautiful clothing that was gifted to me by my mom that I can't wait to wear.  I'm being true to the challenge though, no cheating!  A lot of bloggers are switching out items that they haven't worn or are shopping, but I'm making sure to stick by all the rules until the 30 days are over!
Top: Charlotte Russe
Skirt: Merona
Shoes: Jessica Simpson
Belt: NY&Co.
Necklace: thrifted

I knew better than to take my pics in direct sunlight, but I ignored my instincts.  The shadows and squinting? I knew better!  Oh well!  This was my first attempt at wearing something other than sweatpants since Thanksgiving.  I've been curled up inside eating leftovers and watching episodes of Dexter back to back.  It is a beautiful sunny day (no snow like this time last week!) so I had to get outside.

Yes, I am eagerly awaiting day 31!

You're stronger than I am! I didn't put enough thought into my 30 items and substitutions were necessary. The challenge would have been less interesting and wouldn't have taught me as much - that is for sure!

Now if your mom gifted you accessories, you could wear those, right? Accessories are a free for all, yes? We just can't buy them ourselves. Where's my cheat sheet?

Love the skirt. I guess I like animal prints after all. I've seen so many executed nicely lately. Not animals, the prints. The turquoise adds a nice pop!

Enjoy the sunshine! Natural light in a Seattle picture is like ice cream with sprinkles (I have no idea what that means).
