Back Home Again in Indiana...

...and it seems that I can see the gleaming candlelight still shining bright through the sycamores for me.
I don't expect anyone who isn't a native to Ole' Indiana to know that song (and I'd bet most Hoosiers today couldn't finish it).  It feels so good to be home and to sleep in my own bed after nearly a week of hotel living.  I knew I was neglecting IKC, but I had a feeling you wouldn't want to see a variation of the skinny jeans + top + knit sweater every day so I focused my energy on getting home and consuming copious amounts of diet soda to keep me awake on the long drives.
Top: Old Navy
Skirt: Banana Republic
Sweater: F21
Tights: Target
Shoes: gifted Jessica Simpsons

When I saw this top at ON, I had to snatch it up right away.  I'm a lover of all thing polka-dots, so this was an obvious choice.  Paired with this navy skirt, it is such a cute combination.  I can't wait to wear this in the warm spring without tights and a cardigan with a cute pair of high heeled sandals.
As a lover of all things clothes, winter is a good season because of all the layering options.  I don't mind the cold (obviously, I moved back to Indiana from Seattle where half an inch of snow closes the city) so I am happy to keep bundling up.  Fall is definitely my favorite season to dress in.  The great color options and the tights and cute jackets are so fun to play with.
What is your favorite season to dress in?

I do like winter to get dressed. I actually have the hardest time getting dressed in the summer when its particularly hot, I just resort to boring shorts and a tank!

And those shoes are to die for with the grey tights. Everyone and their grandmother is wearing JS shoes, I must go try on a pair...

Fall and Spring are my favorite times of year in general and for dressing. I love layers without having to worry about a coat!

Love the polka dots and I definitely need to add more to my closet.

Personally, I love fall/winter to dress in.

I love spring because I can wear all the really feminine, girly colors of summer, but still layer up because it's a bit chilly still. Although, honestly, I wear whatever colors I feel like whenever. It's kinda nice...

Fall and Spring, because I can LIGHTLY layer! I'm over 4 layers and still shivering.

That top was a fab choice-love the look! Polka is so classic.

Glad you made it home safe girl!

Fall ftw! Probably because I live in Texas where I have such a short time to enjoy layering without suffocating. Can you tell me what's style name of these Jessica Simpsons?
