Midnight Train

Since I've been back, I have had a great time re-discovering this little city of mine.  Since starting this blog, I see landscapes completely differently.  Now, when I see a great mural or bright colored wall I think to myself "I'd love to do a shoot here for IKC!" My friend and I were out and found this little gem of a location.  I am instantly reminded of Joann from Sidewalk Chic who features a set of train tracks pretty regularly on her blog.
Dress: Mossimo
Tights: Target
Shoes: xhiliration
Coat: borrowed from my mom's closet
Belt: Banana Republic
Bag: Coach

It was pretty windy today, so 80% of my pictures were unusable due to some cray cray hair.  I always forget the wind factor when I'm doing outdoor shoots.  Some people are blessed to look like they carry around their own special wind effects team and get that great wind-blown look.  Unfortunately, I am not one of these people and I look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket.  A little clever cropping and finito!  No one is the wiser...except all of you because I outed myself yet again.
How do you deal with picture mishaps?

oh, and when i take bad pics, i just keep making my husband retake them. he doesn't really like it but ... that's been my tactic so far haha.

Thank you for the mention -- your setting is fantastic. I love the camel coat in these photos -- kind of gives all of the photos a sepia theme in them. What a great place to take photos!

I totally sympathize with windy hair photos. I recently discovered the continuous setting on my camera, so I can take three pictures (or more) at once with my self-timer. It's kind of helped with the photo mishaps -- with three times as many photos to choose from, some are bound to work!

Hmmm, i have mishaps often but I do try to pick good locations when the weather is decent (which right now is never). The train tracks are awesome for outfit posts and your dress and borrowed coat are great:)

Love that yellow coat! Alma mater thing going on again! I needs to get me a yellow coat to go with my purple. Wait, I need purple.

How do I deal with photo mishaps? I am the poster child for those! I'm still using my rotten apple phone and 6- and 8-year-old photographers.

Great outfit. Love your outfit. I don't delete photos mishaps unless it is very terrible or bad.
