 Top: Nordstrom
Skirt: LOFT
Tights: Target
Shoes: Steve Madden
Earrings: gifted from my sister-in-law Catherine
I am back to work, and it feels great.  It was pretty scary for me to leave a great job in Washington with no prospects, but I am so glad I did.  Now, I am back amongst the workforce and can bring out my favorite work attire.  I sometimes find it difficult to toe the line between professional and fashionable.  I have a job that lends a little more freedom in what I can wear.  Nothing too distracting or revealing, but other than that, I get to choose how I dress.  Some therapists wear suits, others wear dress pants, and some wear jeans and sneakers.  I love that freedom, and it lets me change my level of dressiness based on how I am feeling on any given day.
What do you wear to work?

wow, I didn't know you were a therapist! I stinkin love the blouse and skirt. I am never bold enough to wear bright tights. If they're paterned, they're black, and the lightest ones I have are gray. ...I really need to take some risks! I'm glad for you that you found employment. It's scary to take risks, like moving across the country without knowing exactly what you're getting into... You've given me hope.

(P.S. Can't answer the 'what do you wear to work?' question because I am still job hunting. Picking out something appropriate for job hunting is a little nerve-wracking in my closet though!)

You see what I wear to work, every day! It changes depending on my mood, just like you! Congrats on re-entering the workforce. That was really quick, actually, given the economy right now! Good job! Still waiting for my psychoanalysis. ;)

Love your outfit and your haircolour! so pretty

I love your work outfits! Those heels with the tights look amazing. I wish I had the courage to wear that to work, but they're not practical for what I do. There's a reason I wear jeans and basic tops everyday as I don't want to ruin my nice clothes with chemicals.

Heavens to redness! I love love love this! I love coloured tights, the black and white is so striking and man, those shoes!!
I work with newcomers to Canada so we really can wear whatever we like. I used to be in a counsellor position and I liked being able to dress down of up depending on what I was doing that day and to make my clients comfortable. Freedom!

Love the outfit, and I'm glad to see the rights are REALLY red! I just bought a pair a week ago, and was contemplating how they would look.

I like what DaniellaBella said - heavens to redness! You look hot! I agree with you - its tough to be professional and fashionable. I post most of my work attire on my blog (I'm an insurance agent).

What I post on my blog is pretty much what I wear to work. I definitely bend the rules a bit seeing how I work in a sales environment, but luckily I'm on the marketing side of things and I can be branched as a "creative" person - which always gives more flexibility to work wear.

LOVE! LOVE EVERYTHING! I would copy this outfit head to toe but all I own that is similar is the red tights.

We have a business casual code but we can play around with it as long as there's no boobage or too much leg.

Those red tights are amazing! Great shoes too!

This outfit is red hot! I need some colorful tights! I have funky, but not so much colorful.

What do I wear to work? It varies. I'll be super dressed up one day and in jeans another. Depends on the weather and my mood.

Loving those shoes!
Clothes for my jobs are pretty blah (workout gear for class & and black/white for retail). BUT those "uniforms" make me appreciate my closet so much more on my off days!
