As supportive as they are, they still like to make fun of me over it too. Let's be real, how weird is it that we (meaning my collective blogger buddies aka YOU!) get dressed in the morning, take pictures of ourselves, sometimes spending hours(!!) on a post, and publish it for all to see. Sometimes I wonder who the heck cares what you're wearing Kinsey? But, the truth is, that I do it almost every day because I love it. So my buds like to tease me over my "signature pose". My friend Jimmy likes to say "I always wonder what is so interesting happening off to the left, because you're always looking away."
So today I went back through IKC photos and discovered... he is totally right. What IS so interesting to the left?? The proof is in the pudding (what does that even mean people?)...
And what about these almost identical poses??
My boyfriend even got in on the action by recreating my "signature pose" for me...

Legs crossed, hand on hip, head tilted!! Hilarious that you brought this up - Today I was editing a post that had photos with a jacket and without the jacket. Two of my pics are pracitally identical in the pose above! I guess we just know what we like right? Lol!

Okay. I was not an IKC stalker when you had blonde hair...apparently I've only known you as a redhead. And holy crap. I have similar blonde hair, (really, it's like looking at my own head)...Your vibrant red hair makes me want to make that drastic move! What was your inspiration? Joan...would definitely be mine!

I feel kind of silly for doing a style blog sometimes but honestly I love reading other people's blogs and I have fun with my own! People do obviously want to see what you are wearing everyday :)
Awe! Your sig is adorable! Very modest and sweet but I sense a bit of confidence in there as well....perfect for outfit posts! My pose is usually a hand on the hip with one leg crossed over the other....I think I read somewhere that its a flattering pose, so I adopted it!
Hilarious. My signature pose is cross my legs, hands on my hips and smile. Simple. I get made fun of because I don't do other poses. My friends are natural in front of a camera. Not I. I start overthinking. So I just go with what is safe. Of recent, I started doing motion poses. Still trying to get the hang of it.

I've noticed other bloggers' signature poses as well. I'm not sure what my signature pose is, but my signature expression is usually one of discomfort, often a look of constipation. That's mostly because I feel weird getting my picture taken. You always have great poses AND great outfits! I love your use of color and your heels!

Haha this post is hilarious! I have those poses that I slip into as well- I think that on some unconscious level I'm memorizing the poses from photos that I liked (of myself) and I just re-create them over and over in front of the lens because I'll know they work. My SP is standing at 3/4 to the camera with one knee popped out and one arm behind my head.
BTW I just love your use of color.
Love the boyfriend pose! Haven't been blogging long enough to have a signature pose yet, but I'm sure it's coming. My friends think it's weird too and ask me questions like "Who ARE your followers???", but I also sense a little bit of "I wish I could blog too :-(..." in them as well...lol.
