It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...
Top: F21
Skirt: LOFT
Cardi: Mr. Roger's closet Banana Republic
Shoes: Jessica Simpson Collection
I love this cardigan, because it is super soft and comfortable. I need to start taking cues from my favorite childhood TV characters more often. Tomorrow's outfit will be inspired by Punky Brewster or my all time fave DJ Tanner.
I'll admit that when I was younger, I had a massive girl crush on DJ Tanner. She was cute, stylish (I mean, check out those bangs!), and had a handsome boyfriend (oh Steve). I wanted to BE DJ Tanner, but alas, it was not meant to be.
Did you ever want to be just like a specific TV character when you were growing up?

Um. YES to the cardi- and the whole combo! It's like comfortable sexy. Favorite idea, ever.

I loved, DJ, too. And I totally had my bangs cut like hers as well :-)
I loved DJ...she was my favorite! You may have had a bad hair day yesterday (I'm sporting the pony tail today) but today you're dead on! Hair looks great!

I wanted to be DJ as well! I have the 5th grade school picture to prove it! (can we say teal top, blue oversized sweatshirt cardigan, and CRIMPED hair!?!)
I love your outfit and I don't think it's Mr. Rodgers at all! You look AMAZING!!! :)
I want to be as stylish as you when I grow up.

This post is cute! I love that your inspiration was Mr. Rogers. Goes to show, you can be inspired from all sorts of things! Plus, your outfit is way cute and flattering and puts that train playing, compulsive shoe changing neighbor to shame.
AGREED. DJ Tanner was THE coolest. I really love your blouse, btw. Oh, and I can't wait to see your bangs all DJ-ified. ;)

Oh, I LOVED that show when I was little!
I love this look, especially the top. I want to see some DJ Tanner hair and acid wash tomorrow! (I wanted to be Stephanie from full house, remember when she danced to Boys-2-Men- I was obsessed)
So cute! Love the reference to Mr Rogers! And Love the cardigan! I remember wanting to be Mallory from Family Ties for some reason....I thought she was so cool;)
You look so cute and I can see just a little resemblance :) Love the cardigan and the shirt!
I always wanted to be Buffy :) How could she pull off those stylish outfits and never have one dirty spot after fighting?!

I love that cardi it is so cute goes perfect with your navy and blue outfit
I love the color palette here (especially with your red locks) and the detail on that blouse is perfection!!!
I always related to DJ and the Tanner girls- I'm the oldest of three girls, we were all blondes as kids, and we were all closest to my dad. I even had a Kimmie Gibbler-esque friend. I lacked the super-hot uncle/ John Stamos look alike, but that's probably for the best.
I love your Mr. Roger's cardigan!!
That man can pull off a cardi! But not with as much loveliness as you! I also wanted to be DJ too... man she was cool!
