Indigo Girl

Here I am, back in front of my most favorite wall in all of Indianapolis.  Yup, I've got a favorite wall.  Ponder that loyal readers... It's the perfect backdrop for this bold colorblocked outfit.  Purple and hot pink is such a girly combination, and I'm allll about the girly.  I love feminine elements, and this color combination is so Malibu Barbie.  Blogger Barbie perhaps?  Did Barbie have a redheaded sidekick I've forgotten about in the 15 years since I've outgrown her?
Top: Macy's
Skirt: LOFT
Shoes: Steven Madden
Bag: Coach
Cuff: Banana Republic

This top is one of the few items I own that I bought because I saw it on someone else.  That person was my mamacita!  She bought this top and I got super jealous because I loved the color and detailed neckline.  I beelined to the nearest Macy's and found it waiting for me (on the sale rack no less!).  Keep inspiring me Mama!

Do you ever see an item on someone and head straight to the store to make it your own?

I think if Barbie had a red headed sidekick, you would be it. I love this look on you!

I think Barbie's red-headed friend was Midge? But you're way more fabulous. I think she was the "frumpy" friend. You're Barbie after a job change and a move halfway across the country with a new haircolor and attitude standing in front of your favorite wall. :)

I bought a shirt because I saw Kendi wearing it.

I bought a lace skirt from target after seeing so many of my favorite bloggers make it look so fabulous. I got it last summer and still wear it regularly.
I just noticed your belt, sunnies and nails all match. You are so fabulous! :)

I once walked in an Ann Taylor store and bought the pink ruffled button up a salesgirl was wearing. Nice marketing!
