Jet Setter

Alright folks, I'm heading to the airport and flying down to Texas for the rest of the week.  I'm going to a professional conference that I look forward to each year.  This year, it's made even better by the fact it's being held in the same town my sisters live.  I'm going to spend the next few days soaking up some sun, some family and niece time, and learning about the latest research in couples' therapy.
Dress: so old, I've had it since freshman year of college (oof I feel old)
Blazer: H&M
Shoes: xhiliration
Bag: Coach
Belt: Old Navy
Necklace: gifted from my boyfriend
Pin: thrifted

I fly several times a year, so I've gotten my airport garb down to perfection.  It's always hard to fly to a city much warmer or colder than the one you leave.  I've got my blazer to keep me warm on the plane (they're so cold!), a light cotton dress to wear once I land in the Lone Star State, easy shoes to slip off during security check, and a bag to accommodate all of my trashy tabloid magazines.  I like this look because it's a bit nicer than the usual sweats and flip flop ensemble I see while flying.
What do you wear when you travel?

That is a cuuuute dress!

Last time I flew I wore my J. Crew minnies, a Purdue tee, a gold cardi, and flats. It was comfy, but cute!

SOOOOOOOOOOO much cuter than sweats and flip flops. I have not flown in about 4 years (I can probably count on one hand how many times I have ever flown total). I am a rookie at dressing for travel. But I shall take tips from you. This dress is absolutely adorable! I love the blue and red!

Your dress reminds me of celebratory champagne! I'm going to be going on a 47 hour plane journey soon and am sort of at a loss about what to wear...

You've got a pretty good handle on travel-style, lady. But don't forget the most flattering accessory: the neck pillow. They come in all the colors of the rainbow :)

I love that you are wearing turquoise and red. Power colors!

OH, Kinsey. Do you mind if I call you a baller? B/c you. are. a baller. I don't think a funner travel outfit exists.

Oh how perfect, you're going to have such a great time with your sister! Loving the orange and teal color combo! When I travel I like to wear jeggings, boots that don't fit in my luggage (during fall), a loose top and a cardi!
