Well, it's here.  After a winter of warm weather and sunny days, the snow and ice hit Indiana today.  Of course, I never listen and I still had bare legs and high heels.  Welcome winter!

Birthday Bash

Hey everyone!  Today is my 26th birthday, and last night my amazing friends threw me a black tie birthday bash!  It was a great night with lots of champagne, cater waiters, a chocolate fountain and lots of beautifully dressed people.

I wasn't being a good blogger last night and didn't get a full outfit shot last night.  The only one where you can even see my shoes is this one my boyfriend took when I fell asleep on the couch.  Good night!

Camel

I am loving this monochromatic look.  Tan and camel are such chic colors and perfect for a warm winter day.  Yeah, you heard me, warm winter.  It was in the 50s today.  Usually this time of year brings inches of snow, blustery winds and temps below freezing.  Thanks for answering my prayers Santa!

Resolution

I always love this time of year.  Not only is my birthday this weekend, but it seems like everyone has a new slate.  A new year means a new start.  2011 was the best year of my life.  It saw a cross-country move, a new job, meeting the love of my life and being back in the homeland with my friends and family.  I seemed to luck out last year, and things just got better and better.  2012 will bring a move to a new house, some great vacations planned and whatever else the year has in store.

I'm always a big believer in New Year's Resolutions.  I have a few.  I'd like to move IKC back up on the priority list.  It's been on the back burner while living life has taken the top spot.  IKC brings me joy and is a great creative outlet, so it deserves a little TLC in 2012.
