Master Class

I'm going to be honest: I love a good deal.  I was raised by a mother who is Master Class level sales shopping.  She can sniff out a deal better than a bloodhound, and that mentality definitely seeped in a little over the years.  Despite how my income has changed over the years, I still shop like that poor college student most of the time.  I score most of my clothes on sale, with gift cards and at thrift shops.  Style is important to me, but I just can't bring myself to spend massive amounts on clothing unless I have a very specific reason.  There are certain things I will splurge on, and as much as I love clothing it just isn't one of them.  Now this doesn't mean I don't like or want nice things- I just now how to be patient and wait for sales and scoop up coupon codes to get what I want at a fraction of the price.  I cannot remember the last time I paid full price for ANY item of clothing in the last 5 years.

Sometimes people will be surprised to hear that since I own a metric ton of clothing, but it's true!  It honestly seems like people respond much better to my unique thrift store finds than clothing I bought at a boutique or department store!  It just keeps motivating me to reach for the pieces no one else has.  Both this kerchief and bag were snagged at secondhand shops, and the boots, shirt, sunnies and skirt were each under $15!
